Contest Rules

Official Rules of the ECFFB College Football Faceoff Bracket Challenge Contest — how to enter, how brackets are scored, and how prizes are awarded.

Official Rules for the 2026-2027 Promotion.

Effective date: October 30, 2026. Entries are accepted only during the entry period stated in Section 1.

1. Introduction

Welcome to the ECFFB College Football Faceoff Bracket Challenge Contest (the “Promotion”), a bracket-prediction promotion based on the results of the 2026-2027 College Football Playoff (the “Tournament”). The Promotion is offered and sponsored by Elite College Fantasy Football LLC, doing business as ECFFB, a sports entertainment company (“ECFFB” or the “Sponsor”), and is accessible through https://www.elitecollegefantasyfootball.com/ (the “Website”) and the associated ECFFB APP (the “APP”). Entry does not require consent to receive marketing communications from ECFFB or from any Brand Partner (as defined in Section 8). Any optional marketing consent must be obtained separately and may be withdrawn at any time without affecting eligibility, winner selection, or prize entitlement. Administrative and prize notices may still be sent as transactional communications to the email address associated with an entrant’s account.

The APP also includes a tab called “Mini-Challenges” that features three fan activations: the Ultimate Bracket Challenge Fan Vote, the College Football Bracket Battle, and the American Service Champions Challenge (together, the “Mini-Challenges”). The Mini-Challenges are described in Sections 3.5 and 4.3. The Ultimate Bracket Challenge Fan Vote awards no prize.

On Sunday, December 6, 2026, from approximately 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Eastern Time, the College Football Playoff selection committee is expected to reveal the 12-team bracket, seeds, and first-round matchups. After the teams are selected and seeded, eligible participants may submit brackets predicting the winning team for each playoff game and the total points scored in each round, subject to the scoring rules and point tolerances described below.

The Promotion is designed for a projected pool of 100,000+ entries. ECFFB may make non-material operational adjustments reasonably necessary to address actual participation volume, platform performance, schedule changes, or circumstances beyond its reasonable control, provided that no adjustment materially changes the published eligibility requirements, scoring standards, winner-selection method, or value of a prize except as expressly permitted by these Official Rules and applicable law.

The Promotion opens on Sunday, December 6, 2026, after the Tournament bracket is released, and closes two (2) hours before the scheduled kickoff of the first Tournament game (the “bracket lock deadline”). Based on the published 2026-2027 Tournament schedule, the first game is scheduled for Friday, December 18, 2026, at 8:00 p.m. Eastern Time, making the anticipated bracket lock deadline 6:00 p.m. Eastern Time that day. If the scheduled kickoff changes before the bracket locks, ECFFB may adjust the deadline to remain two (2) hours before the rescheduled kickoff and will provide notice through the Website or APP. After the bracket lock deadline, no bracket changes or new submissions will be accepted, and participants may view submitted brackets only.

No affiliation. The College Football Playoff, the CFP, the NCAA, and the participating teams, conferences, and schools are not sponsors of, are not affiliated with, and are not responsible for the Promotion. Their names are used only to identify the games and schools on which the Promotion is based. Brand Partners that advertise or appear on the Website or APP are addressed in Section 8.

2. Eligibility

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. Creating an ECFFB account and entering the Promotion are free; no fee, paid subscription, purchase, or other monetary consideration is required, and ECFFB does not accept payment of any kind in connection with the Promotion. ECFFB may in the future offer paid subscriptions or premium content. No such product is required to create an account, enter, play, win, or claim a prize, and no purchase or subscription affects eligibility, scoring, ranking, odds of winning, or prize entitlement. No purchase from, account with, deposit or wager with, or response to any offer from a Brand Partner is required to enter or win, and none improves an entrant’s chances of winning.

The Promotion is open only to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia who are registered ECFFB users and are at least eighteen (18) years old and the age of majority in their jurisdiction of residence at the time of entry (which is nineteen (19) in Alabama and Nebraska and twenty-one (21) in Mississippi). Residents of Canada and all other jurisdictions are ineligible. Eligibility is determined at the time of entry, and age and residency may be verified by legal documentation before any prize is awarded. The Promotion is void outside the eligible territory and wherever prohibited or restricted by law.

Registered jurisdictions. The Promotion is offered to residents of New York, Florida, and Rhode Island only after every registration, bond, trust account, and filing required by the laws of that state has been completed, whether by ECFFB directly or through a provider designated by ECFFB, and ECFFB has confirmed that completion before accepting entries from residents of that state. Until that confirmation, residents of that state may not enter, and any entry submitted by a resident of that state before that confirmation is void. ECFFB remains responsible for these obligations, including any required bond or trust account in the amount of the total prize value and the winners lists required by those states. Registration information: New York: [INSERT NEW YORK REGISTRATION NUMBER, IF ISSUED]; Florida: [INSERT FLORIDA REGISTRATION NUMBER, IF ISSUED]; Rhode Island: [INSERT RHODE ISLAND REGISTRATION INFORMATION, IF REQUIRED].

Accounts, brackets, and the one-prize limit. Each natural person may maintain only one registered ECFFB account for purposes of the Promotion and may submit a maximum of two (2) bracket entries through that account. Each person may receive no more than one (1) prize in the entire Promotion, regardless of the number of accounts, email addresses, devices, or brackets used. If a person qualifies for more than one prize, that person will receive only the prize of greatest cash value, and each other prize for which that person qualified will pass to the next eligible player under the ranking that applies to that prize. To apply this limit, prizes are determined in the following order: (i) the Grand Prize; (ii) the Consolation Bracket Prizes, from 1st place through 12th place; (iii) the College Football Bracket Battle prizes; and (iv) the American Service Champions Challenge prizes. A person who has received a prize at an earlier step is skipped at every later step. ECFFB may use account, device, network, telephone, address, payment, and identity-verification signals to enforce these limits, detect automated or duplicate entries, and prevent fraud, subject to its privacy policy and applicable law.

Employees, contractors, officers, directors, representatives, and agents of ECFFB; any prize-indemnity, promotional-risk coverage, judging, fulfillment, advertising, technology, or administration provider engaged in connection with the Promotion; any Brand Partner that presents the Promotion or a Mini-Challenge or whose name appears in the title of the Promotion or a Mini-Challenge; and each such person’s immediate family members and household members are not eligible to enter or win. “Immediate family members” means a spouse, parent, child, sibling, and each of their respective spouses, regardless of residence.

Odds of Winning. The odds of winning the Grand Prize depend on the number of eligible bracket entries received and the accuracy of each bracket’s predictions. Because the Grand Prize requires a bracket to remain perfect through all eleven (11) games and within each applicable round-total tolerance, it is possible that no Grand Prize will be awarded. The odds of winning a Consolation Bracket Prize depend on the number of eligible brackets in the final Consolation standing described in Section 4.2, their ranking under that Section, and the one-prize limit; only the twelve (12) highest-ranking eligible players in the final Consolation standing receive a Consolation Bracket Prize. The likelihood of receiving a College Football Bracket Battle or American Service Champions Challenge prize depends on the number of eligible participants or submissions, the ranking method in Section 4.3, the one-prize limit, and completion of winner verification; only the twelve (12) highest-ranking eligible players in each of those activations receive a prize. The Ultimate Bracket Challenge Fan Vote awards no prize.

3. Playing the Promotion

3.1 Signing Up and Submitting a Bracket

To participate, a registered ECFFB user must sign in to the Website or ECFFB APP, accept these Official Rules, enter the Promotion, complete all required bracket selections, provide the required round-by-round total-points predictions, and submit the bracket before the bracket lock deadline. A qualifying entry is a bracket that a registered user has submitted before the bracket lock deadline and that includes all required picks and scoring predictions. A bracket saved as a draft but not submitted is not an entry, is not scored, and is not counted in any Mini-Challenge.

Brackets will be accepted beginning on December 6, 2026, after the Tournament selection committee announces and seeds the 12-team bracket, and will remain open until two (2) hours prior to kickoff of the first Tournament game. The anticipated submission window is approximately twelve (12) days from the selection show to first-game kickoff; the published opening and lock dates and times control. ECFFB may send entry reminders only where the recipient has separately consented to receive them (for push notifications, by allowing notifications in the device settings) or where the communication is otherwise permitted by applicable law; declining, disabling, or unsubscribing from reminders will not affect entry or prize eligibility.

Sharing. The APP may allow a user to share a link to the user’s bracket or to invite others to join the Promotion. Sharing is optional. Before the bracket lock deadline, a shared bracket link does not show the user’s picks. Sharing, inviting, or referring others does not create an entry, earn any reward or bonus, or affect any bracket, score, ranking, Mini-Challenge tally, odds of winning, or prize.

3.2 Making Picks

After the bracket is available, participants must complete the entire playoff bracket by selecting the predicted winning team for each game in every round. Participants must also predict the total points scored in each round of the Tournament. The bracket must be complete at the time it is submitted.

3.3 Scoring, Elimination, and Leaderboard Rules

For scoring purposes, a round’s total points means the combined final points scored by both teams in all games designated by the Tournament as part of that round. ECFFB will determine game winners, round composition, and final scores using the official results published by the Tournament organizer or its designated statistics provider. A result becomes final for leaderboard purposes when the Sportradar feed marks the game “complete” or an authorized administrator enters the result. There is no live scoring during games. If Sportradar later marks the game “closed,” ECFFB will re-check the score and recalculate the leaderboard only if the score changed. Corrections to official results made before winner verification may be reflected in Promotion scoring.

Two separate standings. The Promotion has two separate standings, each with its own leaderboard: the Grand Prize standing (also called the Active standing) and the Consolation standing (also called the Eliminated standing). Every submitted bracket starts in the Grand Prize standing.

First miss. A bracket remains in the Grand Prize standing only while it has no miss in any concluded game or round. A “miss” occurs at the first of: (1) an incorrect predicted game winner once that game is final; or (2) a predicted round point total outside the permitted tolerance once the last game in that round is final. The permitted tolerance is plus or minus one (1) point for Round 1, the Quarterfinals, and the Semifinals, based on the sum of all final game scores in that round; the Championship prediction must be exact. A bracket moves irrevocably to the Consolation standing upon its first miss, but continues to earn scoring points under the same scoring formula.

  1. Grand Prize standing: only brackets with no incorrect winner pick and no out-of-tolerance round total in any concluded game or round.
  2. Consolation standing: every bracket that has incurred a miss. Placement is automatic and requires no opt-in. After the final Tournament game, the Consolation standing also receives every bracket that finished with no miss but did not win the Grand Prize, as provided in Section 4.2.
  3. Standings are maintained per bracket, not per registered account. A player with two brackets may have both brackets in the same standing or one bracket in each standing.
  4. The Grand Prize is determined from the Grand Prize standing only, not by comparing the highest Total Score across both standings. A bracket in the Consolation standing may have a higher Total Score than the Grand Prize winner.

Scoring Values

After each final game result is received, the system recalculates all submitted brackets from the beginning using the latest final results. Round-total points are included in the recalculation triggered by the final game of that round, after every game in the round is final. For each bracket, the system maintains: (1) Correct Picks, the number of correctly predicted game winners, which continues to accumulate after a miss; (2) Round-Total Points, consisting of two (2) points for an exact completed-round total, one (1) point for a completed-round total within the permitted plus or minus one (1) tolerance, and zero (0) points otherwise, except that the Championship awards two (2) points only for an exact prediction and zero (0) points otherwise; and (3) Total Score, the sum of winner-pick points and Round-Total Points under the table below.

RoundGamesPoints per Correct WinnerRound-Total PointsMaximum
Round 141Exact = 2; within 1 = 16
Quarterfinals43Exact = 2; within 1 = 114
Semifinals26Exact = 2; within 1 = 114
Championship114Exact = 2; otherwise = 016
Total1142 available8 available50

Maximum score. The mathematical maximum is fifty (50) points. A bracket in the Grand Prize standing may earn all 50 points. Because a bracket with a miss must have at least one miss, its maximum attainable Total Score is forty-nine (49) points.

Leaderboard order. After each final game, each leaderboard is rebuilt in three steps: (1) brackets with no miss remain in the Grand Prize standing and brackets with any miss move to the Consolation standing; (2) within each standing, brackets are ranked from highest to lowest Total Score; and (3) if Total Scores are equal, the bracket with the earlier applicable submission timestamp ranks higher, measured to the millisecond. The applicable timestamp is the time of the last pre-lock submission that changed a winner pick or round-total prediction. Re-saving without changing either does not change the timestamp.

The same scoring formula and ranking steps apply separately to both standings. In the Grand Prize standing, every bracket has correctly predicted all completed-game winners, so winner-pick points are equal and ranking differences ordinarily arise from Round-Total Points and then timestamp. In the Consolation standing, later-round winner picks carry greater weight and may cause a bracket with fewer Correct Picks to rank above a bracket with more Correct Picks. Leaderboard placement is provisional until ECFFB completes eligibility, identity, duplicate-entry, scoring, and compliance verification.

3.4 Leaderboards

ECFFB displays two separate leaderboards on the Website or APP: the Grand Prize leaderboard, showing the Grand Prize standing, and the Consolation leaderboard, showing the Consolation standing. ECFFB may display usernames, bracket status, rankings, scores, and explanatory tie labels. The leaderboards are informational and do not themselves award, flag, or record a prize winner. Prize determination is a manual administrative process based on the final verified standings and these Official Rules. The account-level “prize eligibility” indicator reflects only whether the date of birth entered for the account indicates an age of at least eighteen (18); it does not independently establish legal eligibility (including residency and the higher age of majority in Alabama, Nebraska, and Mississippi, which ECFFB will check at prize verification), remove a bracket from a standing, alter ranking, or constitute notice of winning. Editable prize text displayed in the product is informational only and cannot expand, reduce, or replace the prize terms published in these Official Rules. ECFFB may correct scores, rankings, or bracket status to apply official result corrections, remedy technical or administrative errors, or enforce these Official Rules, provided that no change is made for the purpose of favoring or disadvantaging a particular entrant. Brand Partner content that appears on or near a leaderboard is advertising and is not part of the standings.

3.5 Mini-Challenges Tab and Running Tallies

The APP includes a “Mini-Challenges” tab that gives access to the Ultimate Bracket Challenge Fan Vote, the College Football Bracket Battle, and the American Service Champions Challenge. Each activation appears in the APP under the name used in these Official Rules.

ECFFB displays running tallies for the Mini-Challenges in the aggregate on the Mini-Challenges page: (i) the number of Fan Vote votes cast for each of the five (5) Fan Vote options (ESPN, DraftKings, NCAA.com, Yahoo Sports, and ECFFB); (ii) a ranking of the top twelve (12) eligible schools with the most valid bracket submissions, listed from most to least, with the number-one ranked school featured on the landing page; and (iii) a ranking of all twelve (12) American Service Champions Challenge cohorts by valid bracket submissions, with the top-ranked cohort featured on the landing page. Schools are displayed by name only, in plain block lettering, without logos. Schools ranked below twelfth place are counted by ECFFB but are not displayed in the ranking, except that a user may be shown the current position of the user’s own school. The display does not change how the winning school is determined. Running tallies are informational. They are updated from data in the ECFFB system, may include votes and submissions that have not yet been verified, and may be adjusted to remove ineligible, duplicate, automated, or fraudulent votes and submissions. Only the final tallies as of the bracket lock deadline, after verification, determine the winning school and the winning cohort. A tally or ranking is not notice of winning and does not create any entitlement to a prize.

After ECFFB has verified the winners of the College Football Bracket Battle and the American Service Champions Challenge, the APP may display those winners by username. The APP does not display prize amounts; prize amounts are stated only in these Official Rules. The official winners list is described in Section 5.

4. Prizing and Tiebreakers

4.1 Grand Prize

The Grand Prize is $100,000 in cash and will be awarded, subject to verification, to the eligible player whose bracket ranks #1 in the final Grand Prize standing. The winning bracket must correctly predict all eleven (11) game winners, must predict the total points scored in each of Round 1, the Quarterfinals, and the Semifinals within plus or minus one (1) point, and must predict the Championship game total exactly. If more than one bracket finishes with no miss, the Grand Prize bracket is the one with the higher Total Score and, if Total Scores are equal, the earlier applicable submission timestamp under Section 3.3. If the final Grand Prize standing is empty, no Grand Prize will be awarded. ECFFB will have prize-indemnity coverage of up to $100,000 for the Grand Prize in place before entry opens and will use that coverage to fund an insured Grand Prize payout. The coverage is maintained for ECFFB’s benefit, creates no contractual or third-party-beneficiary rights in any entrant, and does not limit or alter ECFFB’s obligation to award a Grand Prize properly due under these Official Rules. The award of the Grand Prize is not conditioned on payment by the coverage provider.

4.2 Consolation Bracket Prizes

Final Consolation standing. After the final Tournament game is final and the Grand Prize bracket has been identified, every other bracket that finished in the Grand Prize standing with no miss moves to the Consolation standing. The final Consolation standing is then ranked as follows: (1) brackets that finished with no miss rank above every bracket with a miss; (2) within each of those two groups, brackets are ranked by higher Total Score; and (3) if Total Scores are equal, by the earlier applicable submission timestamp under Section 3.3, measured to the millisecond.

Twelve (12) Consolation Bracket Prizes, with a total cash value of Six Thousand Five Hundred Fifty Dollars ($6,550), will be awarded, subject to verification, to the eligible players whose brackets rank #1 through #12 in the final Consolation standing, as follows:

Final Consolation Standing RankCash Prize
1st place$2,000
2nd place$1,000
3rd place$700
4th place$600
5th place$500
6th place$400
7th place$350
8th place$300
9th place$250
10th place$200
11th place$150
12th place$100
Total$6,550

Each Consolation Bracket Prize is awarded for a single rank. If a bracket ranked #1 through #12 is ineligible, cannot be verified, forfeits, or belongs to a player who has already received a prize or is otherwise barred by the one-prize limit in Section 2, that bracket will be removed from the final Consolation standing for purposes of awarding prizes, each lower-ranked eligible bracket will move up one rank, and each Consolation Bracket Prize will be awarded to the eligible bracket then holding the corresponding rank. If a player has two brackets in the final Consolation standing, only that player’s highest-ranking bracket is considered. The Consolation Bracket Prizes are guaranteed, are not covered by the prize-indemnity coverage described in Section 4.1, and will be paid by ECFFB from its own funds.

4.3 Mini-Challenges: Additional Activations and Prizes

The Ultimate Bracket Challenge Fan Vote awards no prize. The College Football Bracket Battle and the American Service Champions Challenge award the guaranteed cash prizes described below.

Selecting a school or cohort. Selecting a school, and selecting a cohort, are each optional and are made when the entrant registers an ECFFB account. For an account created before these selections were available in the APP, the selection is made the first time the APP asks for it. Once registration or that first prompt is complete, a school or cohort cannot be added or changed. An entrant who does not select a school does not take part in the College Football Bracket Battle, and an entrant who does not select a cohort does not take part in the American Service Champions Challenge. A selection applies to all of that entrant’s brackets.

Ranking of individual players. In the College Football Bracket Battle and the American Service Champions Challenge, eligible players associated with the winning school or winning cohort are ranked after the final Tournament game as follows: (1) brackets that finished with no miss rank above brackets with a miss; (2) within each of those groups, by higher Total Score; and (3) if Total Scores are equal, by the earlier applicable submission timestamp under Section 3.3, measured to the millisecond. Each player is counted once, using the player’s bracket that ranks highest under this order.

4.3(a) The ECFFB Ultimate Bracket Challenge Fan Vote (Entertainment Only; No Prize)

The Ultimate Bracket Challenge Fan Vote (the “Fan Vote”) is an entertainment feature. It is not a contest, sweepstakes, or drawing, and no prize, payment, or other thing of value is awarded in connection with it. Registered ECFFB users may cast one (1) vote per account through the APP for their favorite bracket challenge concept from the following five (5) options: (i) ESPN; (ii) DraftKings; (iii) NCAA.com; (iv) Yahoo Sports; or (v) ECFFB. A vote cannot be changed once cast. Voting is free, is not required to enter or play the Promotion, and has no effect on any bracket, score, ranking, odds of winning, or prize. Voting closes at the end of the Tournament’s National Championship game, currently scheduled for January 25, 2027. The voting period will be published in the APP before voting opens.

ECFFB displays the number of votes cast for each of the five (5) options on the Mini-Challenges page. The tallies reflect votes cast, are not a scientific poll or survey, reflect only the views of self-selected ECFFB users, and are not representative of the general public. ECFFB is not required to monitor or audit votes, but may remove any vote that it determines was automated, duplicate, or fraudulent, without notice to the voter. The options are displayed by name only, without logos. ESPN, DraftKings, NCAA.com, and Yahoo Sports, and their respective names and marks, are the property of their respective owners and are used only to identify the concepts that voters are asked to compare. As of the effective date of these Official Rules, ECFFB is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by any of them, and none of them sponsors or is responsible for the Fan Vote. If any of them becomes a Brand Partner while voting is open, ECFFB will disclose that relationship on the Fan Vote screen, and the relationship will not change how votes are counted or displayed.

4.3(b) College Football Bracket Battle

This activation ranks eligible schools by the number of valid bracket submissions associated with each school as recorded in the ECFFB system before the bracket lock deadline. Eligible schools are the colleges and universities that sponsor a football program competing in the NCAA Division I Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) in the 2026 season, as listed in the APP. An entrant’s school is selected from that list, subject to the selection rules in Section 4.3. Each entrant may be associated with one (1) school, based on the entrant’s own affiliation or preference. Each qualifying entry associated with a school counts as one (1) valid submission for that school, so an entrant with two qualifying entries adds two (2) submissions, and ECFFB may disregard any submission from an entrant who is not eligible for the Promotion. As described in Section 3.5, the APP displays only the top twelve (12) ranked schools; the number-one ranked school after verification is the winning school regardless of how many schools are displayed.

ECFFB will award a Fifty Dollar ($50) cash prize to each of the top twelve (12) eligible players associated with the number-one ranked school nationally, ranked as provided in Section 4.3 and subject to the one-prize limit in Section 2, for a total of up to twelve (12) prizes and a total prize pool of up to Six Hundred Dollars ($600). If fewer than twelve (12) eligible players are associated with the number-one ranked school, prizes will be awarded only to those eligible players. If two or more schools are tied in valid submission count, the school whose final counted submission was recorded earliest ranks higher.

4.3(c) American Service Champions Challenge

This activation is open to eligible entrants who are current or former members of one of the six (6) branches of the United States Armed Forces listed in Exhibit A (including active duty, reserve, and National Guard components, as applicable), or who are current or former paid or volunteer personnel of one of the six (6) Emergency Services Sector disciplines listed in Exhibit A. Affiliation is self-reported at registration and is verified by ECFFB through government-issued documentation or other reasonable means before prize fulfillment. An entrant selects one (1) of the twelve (12) cohorts listed in Exhibit A from the list in the APP, subject to the selection rules in Section 4.3. An entrant may select only one cohort.

Each qualifying entry associated with a cohort counts as one (1) valid submission for that cohort, and ECFFB may disregard any submission from an entrant who is not eligible for this activation. The cohort with the greatest number of valid bracket submissions recorded before the bracket lock deadline will be the winning cohort. ECFFB may also display combined totals for the U.S. Military sector and the Emergency Services Sector, and may mark the sector with the higher combined total with a trophy or checkmark, for entertainment purposes only; no prize is awarded based on sector totals.

ECFFB will award a Fifty Dollar ($50) cash prize to each of the top twelve (12) eligible players in the winning cohort, ranked as provided in Section 4.3 and subject to the one-prize limit in Section 2, for a total of up to twelve (12) prizes and a total prize pool of up to Six Hundred Dollars ($600). The prize is cash only. No voucher, award, ceremony, travel, or other item is included. If fewer than twelve (12) eligible players are associated with the winning cohort, prizes will be awarded only to those eligible players. If two or more cohorts are tied in valid submission count, the cohort whose final counted submission was recorded earliest ranks higher. A winner who is employed by or serves in a government agency, military branch, or emergency services organization is responsible for complying with any rules of that employer or branch that apply to accepting a prize. ECFFB is the sole issuer of these prizes.

One prize per person. As provided in Section 2, a person may receive only one prize in the entire Promotion. A player who has already received the Grand Prize or a Consolation Bracket Prize will be skipped in the College Football Bracket Battle and the American Service Champions Challenge, and a player who has received a College Football Bracket Battle prize will be skipped in the American Service Champions Challenge. Each skipped prize passes to the next eligible player under the ranking in Section 4.3.

Total Promotion prize summary. The total prizes available in the Promotion are: (i) one (1) Grand Prize of $100,000 cash; (ii) twelve (12) Consolation Bracket Prizes totaling $6,550 cash, as itemized in Section 4.2; (iii) up to twelve (12) College Football Bracket Battle cash prizes of $50 each (up to $600 total); and (iv) up to twelve (12) American Service Champions Challenge cash prizes of $50 each (up to $600 total), for up to thirty-seven (37) prizes. The Fan Vote awards no prize. All prizes are cash. The total cash prizes available, and the total approximate retail value of all Promotion prizes, are up to $107,750.

Prize funding. The prize-indemnity coverage described in Section 4.1 is limited to the $100,000 Grand Prize. ECFFB will pay every other prize, which together total up to $7,750 (the Consolation Bracket Prizes of $6,550 and the Mini-Challenge prizes of up to $1,200), from its own funds. Payment of every prize is ECFFB’s obligation under these Official Rules and does not depend on any coverage, bond, sponsorship or advertising revenue, Brand Partner, or payment by a third party. No Brand Partner issues, funds, or guarantees any prize.

Before receiving any prize, a potential winner must complete all verification requirements requested by ECFFB, which may include a valid government-issued photo ID, a completed and signed Affidavit of Eligibility / Liability Release, a publicity release where lawful, and applicable tax documentation. No publicity release will be required as a condition of receiving a prize from a resident of Tennessee or of any other jurisdiction that prohibits that condition. A United States winner may be required to provide IRS Form W-9 and will receive any federal, state, or local information return required under the law applicable to the year in which a prize is paid. ECFFB may withhold any amount required by law. All federal, state, and local taxes and reporting obligations are the winner’s sole responsibility.

Each prize will be disbursed after ECFFB completes identity and eligibility verification, which may take up to sixty (60) calendar days after ECFFB receives all requested identity, eligibility, tax, release, and payment documentation, subject to applicable law and any legal, regulatory, or administrative hold.

Payment methods. ECFFB will pay each prize by one of the following methods, as chosen by the winner on the Prize Claim Form and subject to this paragraph:

  1. Paper check, payable to the winner’s verified legal name and mailed by U.S. Mail to the mailing address the winner submitted on the Prize Claim Form and ECFFB confirmed during verification;
  2. ACH direct deposit to a U.S. bank account held in the winner’s name, using bank account information the winner submits through the secure method ECFFB provides; or
  3. Zelle, sent to the email address or U.S. mobile number that the winner submits through the secure method ECFFB provides and that is enrolled with Zelle in the winner’s name.

Zelle is available only for a prize amount within the Zelle sending limits of ECFFB’s bank at the time of payment. The Grand Prize will be paid by ACH direct deposit or paper check. Before sending a Zelle payment, ECFFB will confirm that the recipient name shown by Zelle matches the winner’s verified legal name. If the names do not match, or if a Zelle payment cannot be completed, ECFFB will pay by ACH direct deposit or paper check instead. A completed Zelle payment generally cannot be reversed, so the winner is responsible for the accuracy of the Zelle email address or mobile number the winner submits. ECFFB will not mail a check to any address other than the confirmed address, or pay to any account or Zelle recipient that is not in the winner’s name, without ECFFB’s prior written approval. If a mailed check is lost or not received, the winner should notify ECFFB at prizes@elitecollegefantasyfootball.com; ECFFB will stop payment on the original check and reissue the payment after confirming that the original was not cashed. A prize that remains unpaid because a check is not cashed, or because the winner cannot be reached after the prize is approved, will be handled under applicable unclaimed property law. ECFFB does not charge a fee for any payment method. The payment method does not change the winner’s tax obligations or ECFFB’s reporting obligations. Bank account information and Zelle contact details will be collected only through the secure method ECFFB provides and never by regular email or text. Zelle and the Zelle-related marks are owned by Early Warning Services, LLC, which is not affiliated with, and does not sponsor or administer, the Promotion.

A potential winner must respond to the prize notification and provide all requested verification, tax, release, and payment information within seven (7) business days after ECFFB sends the notification, unless ECFFB grants an extension in writing. Failure to respond on time, provide required documentation, satisfy eligibility requirements, comply with the two-bracket limit, or pass a required fraud, identity, or compliance review may result in disqualification and forfeiture. A forfeited Grand Prize will pass to the next-ranked eligible bracket in the final Grand Prize standing; if none remains, no Grand Prize will be awarded. A forfeited Consolation Bracket Prize will be handled as provided in Section 4.2. A forfeited College Football Bracket Battle or American Service Champions Challenge prize will pass to the next eligible player under the ranking in Section 4.3.

Administrative confirmation and notice. Prize decisions will be made manually by authorized ECFFB personnel after reviewing the final standings and completing verification. No leaderboard display, running tally, in-app winner display, advertisement, or general announcement constitutes notice of winning; individual winner notification is governed by Section 5.

4.4 Tiebreakers

There is no separate closest-Championship-total tiebreaker. Ties within the Grand Prize standing are resolved by higher Total Score first, then the earlier applicable submission timestamp measured to the millisecond, as provided in Section 3.3. Ties in the final Consolation standing are resolved under Section 4.2. If a tied player is ineligible, cannot be verified, forfeits, or is barred by the one-prize limit, ECFFB will proceed to the next-ranked eligible bracket under Section 4. Ties in the College Football Bracket Battle and the American Service Champions Challenge are resolved under Section 4.3.

All prizes are cash, are nontransferable, and may not be substituted. ECFFB may not reduce the cash value of a prize. A winner may not direct payment to another person without ECFFB’s prior written approval.

5. Winner Notification

Within six (6) calendar days after completion of the Tournament, ECFFB will attempt to notify each potential Grand Prize, Consolation Bracket Prize, College Football Bracket Battle, and American Service Champions Challenge winner by email using the email address associated with the entrant’s ECFFB account. Email is the primary method of prize notification. Prize notification emails will be sent from prizes@elitecollegefantasyfootball.com and will not contain advertising or Brand Partner content. ECFFB will never ask a winner to pay a fee, tax, or deposit to receive a prize, will never ask a winner to send money by Zelle or any other method, and will not ask for bank account numbers, Zelle contact details, or Social Security numbers by regular email or text. Entrants should monitor their inbox, spam, junk, and promotions folders. Marketing subscription status will not affect eligibility, winner selection, or prize entitlement. A potential winner must respond within seven (7) business days after ECFFB sends the notification and timely complete the verification requirements in Section 4. If a potential winner cannot be contacted, fails to respond within that period, receives an undeliverable notification, declines the prize, or fails to comply with these Official Rules, the prize may be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner in accordance with Section 4.

Winner verification, tax documentation, payment methods, response deadlines, disbursement timing, fees, and grounds for disqualification are governed by Section 4. ECFFB will use winner information only as reasonably necessary to administer the Promotion, verify eligibility, fulfill and report prizes, prevent fraud, comply with law, and as otherwise described in the privacy policy identified in these Official Rules.

Winners List. After the winners have been verified, a winners list identifying each winner’s first name, last initial, city, and state will be available for at least ninety (90) days on the Website. A copy may also be requested by email to prizes@elitecollegefantasyfootball.com or by sending a self-addressed, stamped envelope marked “ECFFB College Football Faceoff Bracket Challenge Winners List” to Elite College Fantasy Football LLC d/b/a ECFFB, 1680 Campbell Ln., Suite 109 #1088, Bowling Green, KY 42104. Requests must be received within ninety (90) days after the Tournament ends. Residents of jurisdictions that prohibit requiring return postage may submit a written request without a stamped return envelope. ECFFB will also file with the applicable state authorities, within the time required by law, the winners lists required for the Promotion (including in New York and Florida), which may include the name, address, prize description, and prize delivery date of each winner of a prize valued above the statutory threshold.

6. Legal Disclaimers and General Conditions

By entering, each participant accepts and agrees to be bound by these Official Rules and by ECFFB’s reasonable, good-faith decisions concerning administration, scoring, eligibility, and verification. Prize transfer and substitution are governed by Section 4. Except where prohibited by law, acceptance of a prize constitutes permission for ECFFB and its designees to use the winner’s name, photograph, likeness, statements, biographical information, voice, and city and state of residence for advertising, publicity, and promotional purposes for ECFFB and the Promotion in any media now known or later developed, without additional compensation. This permission does not allow any Brand Partner to use a winner’s name, photograph, likeness, voice, or statements to advertise the Brand Partner’s own products or services, and ECFFB will not permit that use without the winner’s separate written consent. Where the law of a winner’s state of residence (including Tennessee) prohibits requiring a publicity release as a condition of receiving a prize, ECFFB will not require it and will use the winner’s name or likeness for advertising only with the winner’s separate consent.

The Promotion is governed by and subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. ECFFB is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, corrupted, stolen, misdirected, illegible, or invalid entries; incorrect or inaccurate entry information; technical malfunctions; human error; or any other issue that may affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of the Promotion, except to the extent caused by ECFFB’s fraud, gross negligence, or willful misconduct or where such an exclusion is prohibited by law.

If a scheduled game is canceled, preempted, postponed, forfeited, or otherwise materially affected, ECFFB will apply the official determination of the Tournament organizer or its designated governing authority whenever one is available. If no official result is available and the game is not completed, no winner-pick or related round-total points will be awarded for that game unless applicable law requires another treatment. If a team officially advances because of a forfeit, ECFFB will credit the advancing team as the winner for bracket-scoring purposes. Any treatment adopted under this paragraph will be applied uniformly to all affected entries and announced through the Website or APP.

Entire-Tournament force majeure. If the Tournament is canceled, suspended, materially restructured, reduced below twelve (12) teams, or otherwise cannot be completed substantially as contemplated because of weather, natural disaster, epidemic or pandemic, governmental action, terrorism, war, civil disturbance, labor dispute, venue or broadcast disruption, cyberattack, or another circumstance beyond ECFFB’s reasonable control, ECFFB may suspend or modify the Promotion only to the minimum extent reasonably necessary. If lawful and reasonably practicable, ECFFB will determine the Grand Prize and Consolation Bracket Prize recipients using eligible entries and official results from completed games under the published scoring and ranking rules. If those rules cannot fairly produce a recipient for any such prize, ECFFB may use a regulator-approved alternative method or decline to award the affected prize where permitted by law. Any material action will be communicated through the Website or APP and will not be taken to favor or disadvantage a particular entrant.

ECFFB reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any participant who tampers with the entry process, violates these Official Rules, falsifies required information (including falsely claiming a school, military, or emergency services affiliation), uses automated scripts or other improper methods, attempts to compromise the Website or APP, or otherwise acts in a manner that ECFFB determines is improper, unfair, or detrimental to the Promotion or other participants.

Free-entry promotion; lawful operation. The Promotion is a free-entry promotion. No purchase, entry fee, subscription, deposit, or other consideration is required to enter or win any prize. The Promotion is not a lottery, a paid fantasy sports contest, a daily fantasy sports contest, a sportsbook or sports wagering product, or any other activity in which a participant pays or risks anything of value. Entrants do not stake money, pay entry fees, or wager on any outcome. Bracket-contest prizes are awarded based on the accuracy of each participant’s predictions measured against official results under the published scoring and ranking rules. ECFFB intends the bracket contest to reward participants’ knowledge and analysis of the teams, but the Promotion is designed so that it does not depend on how any jurisdiction classifies it, because entry is always free. The Fan Vote is an entertainment feature that awards no prize. Brand Partner advertising, including any advertising for a lawful sports wagering, fantasy sports, or similar product, is separate from the Promotion. No Brand Partner offer, account, deposit, or wager is part of, required for, or connected to entry, scoring, ranking, or any prize. ECFFB will not accept entries from any jurisdiction unless it has determined, before entry opens there, that the Promotion may lawfully be offered under that jurisdiction’s contest, sweepstakes, gambling, consumer-protection, registration, bonding, and related laws. ECFFB will complete a jurisdiction-by-jurisdiction legal review before the first entry is accepted and will exclude, suspend, or discontinue entries from any jurisdiction where that review indicates that operation would be prohibited or would require approvals not obtained before launch. This provision does not itself determine the Promotion’s legal classification under any jurisdiction’s law.

6.1 Internet and Technical Issues

If, for any reason, the Internet, Website, APP, or another technical portion of the Promotion is not capable of running as planned, including because of computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failure, cyberattack, server outage, traffic congestion, or another cause beyond ECFFB’s reasonable control that affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of the Promotion, ECFFB may cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the affected portion to the minimum extent reasonably necessary. Any winner will be determined from eligible entries using the published scoring and ranking rules to the extent practicable, and any material change will be communicated through the Website or APP and implemented in compliance with applicable law.

6.2 Lost or Corrupted Entries

ECFFB and its parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and service providers are not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, corrupted, stolen, misdirected, illegible, invalid, or postage-due entries or communications; hardware or software malfunctions; unauthorized human intervention; incorrect or inaccurate capture of entry information; or failure to capture any such information.

6.3 Disputes and Account Holder

In the event of a dispute regarding an entry, the entry will be deemed submitted by the authorized account holder of the email address associated with the submitted ECFFB account. “Authorized account holder” means the natural person assigned to an email address by an Internet access provider, online service provider, or other organization responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email address.

6.4 Privacy and Data Use

Personal information collected in connection with the Promotion will be used to administer entries, administer the Mini-Challenges (including school affiliation and military or emergency services affiliation provided at registration, which ECFFB uses to compile aggregate tallies and to verify eligibility for prizes), communicate transactional notices, verify identity and eligibility, prevent fraud, fulfill and report prizes (including sharing payment details with ECFFB’s bank and the payment networks needed to send a check, ACH direct deposit, or Zelle payment), comply with legal obligations, and for other purposes disclosed in ECFFB’s privacy policy available through the Website and APP. Marketing communications, including communications about any future paid subscription or premium content and any marketing or advertising from Brand Partners, require separate consent where required by law and may be declined or withdrawn without affecting entry or prize eligibility. ECFFB will not share an entrant’s personal information with a Brand Partner for the Brand Partner’s own marketing unless the entrant has opted in as described in Section 8. Winner verification, identity, tax, and payment information, and military or emergency services affiliation, are never shared with a Brand Partner. ECFFB will publish and make accessible its privacy policy before accepting the first entry. The privacy policy must describe applicable retention periods or retention criteria, categories of recipients, consumer privacy rights, and a method for submitting privacy requests. No entrant personal information will be collected through the Promotion before that policy is published, except as permitted by applicable law for pre-launch testing that does not involve live entrants. The privacy policy will remain reasonably accessible through the completion of prize administration and for at least ninety (90) days thereafter.

6.5 Release and Indemnity

To the fullest extent permitted by law, each participant, including any winner, releases and agrees to hold harmless ECFFB and its parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, service providers, and their respective directors, officers, employees, representatives, and agents from claims, losses, damages, or liabilities arising from participation in the Promotion, acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of a prize, or participation in a Promotion-related activity. This release does not apply to liability resulting from a released party’s fraud, gross negligence, or willful misconduct, or to any liability that cannot lawfully be waived or limited.

6.6 Limitation of Liability and Disclaimer of Warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ECFFB, its parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, related companies, advertising or promotion agencies, service providers, and their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives, and agents will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from access to or use of the Website, APP, Promotion, or Promotion materials. This exclusion does not apply to an obligation to award a prize properly due under these Official Rules; fraud, gross negligence, or willful misconduct; breach of an express prize obligation; violation of applicable consumer-protection law; or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Any enforceable limitation will apply only to the extent permitted under the law applicable to the participant and will not reduce a participant’s nonwaivable rights or remedies.

6.7 Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

Except where prohibited by law, these Official Rules and any dispute arising from the Promotion will be governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Kentucky, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Nothing in this paragraph deprives an entrant of any nonwaivable right or remedy available under the law of the entrant’s jurisdiction. The parties retain all rights and remedies available under applicable law, and these Official Rules do not require arbitration or waive any right to a jury trial or participation in a class or representative proceeding.

7. Host Site and Administrator

The Promotion is owned, offered, hosted, operated, sponsored, and administered by Elite College Fantasy Football LLC, doing business as ECFFB, a sports entertainment company (“ECFFB,” the “Sponsor,” or the “Host”), 1680 Campbell Ln., Suite 109 #1088, Bowling Green, KY 42104. Every reference in these Official Rules to ECFFB, the Sponsor, or the Host means Elite College Fantasy Football LLC, doing business as ECFFB. ECFFB is the sole issuer of the Grand Prize, the Consolation Bracket Prizes, and each prize offered through the Mini-Challenges described in Section 4. ECFFB is responsible for administering the Promotion, selecting and verifying potential winners, and fulfilling the prize obligations stated in these Official Rules. Prize notices, prize claims, winners-list requests, and other questions about prizes may be mailed to the address above or emailed to prizes@elitecollegefantasyfootball.com. Other Promotion-related questions and notices, and privacy requests, may be mailed to the address above or emailed to privacy@elitecollegefantasyfootball.com. Before entry opens, ECFFB will publish an active contact method on the Website and will ensure that the privacy policy required by Section 6 is accessible. The Promotion will not open until those launch conditions are satisfied.

8. Brand Partners, Sponsored Content, and Advertising

8.1 Who Brand Partners are. “Brand Partner” means a third-party sponsor, advertiser, or advertising partner whose name, advertisement, offer, or sponsored content appears on the Website or APP, including on a feature described as “sponsored by,” “presented by,” or “in partnership with” that Brand Partner. A Brand Partner is not the Sponsor of the Promotion. A Brand Partner does not administer the Promotion, select or verify winners, or issue, fund, or guarantee any prize, and is not responsible for the Promotion. ECFFB alone is responsible for the Promotion and every prize, as stated in Section 7.

8.2 Labeling. Brand Partner advertisements and sponsored content will be identified as advertising, using a label such as “Sponsored,” “Ad,” or “Presented by,” so that they can be told apart from Promotion content, standings, and official notices.

8.3 Optional Brand Partner opt-in. A user may choose to receive marketing and advertising from Brand Partners. This choice is offered on a separate consent screen that is not pre-checked and is separate from acceptance of these Official Rules and from consent to ECFFB’s own marketing. It may include: (i) consent to receive Brand Partner offers that ECFFB sends on a Brand Partner’s behalf; and (ii) separate consent, given for each Brand Partner named on the consent screen, for ECFFB to share the user’s contact information with that Brand Partner so that it may contact the user directly. Text messages from or on behalf of a Brand Partner require the user’s separate express written consent that identifies that Brand Partner. Opting in, declining, or withdrawing consent has no effect on eligibility, entry, scoring, ranking, Mini-Challenge tallies, odds of winning, winner selection, or prize entitlement. A user may withdraw consent at any time in the APP settings, through the unsubscribe method in any message, or by emailing privacy@elitecollegefantasyfootball.com, as described in ECFFB’s privacy policy.

8.4 Age and legal limits. Advertising, offers, and marketing for sports wagering, gambling, casino or casino-style games, alcohol, tobacco or vaping products, cannabis, or any other product that may lawfully be offered only to adults over eighteen (18) will be shown or sent only to users whose account information shows that they are at least twenty-one (21) years old, or any higher age that applies, and only where the product may lawfully be advertised to that user. That content will never appear in prize notifications or other transactional messages about the Promotion.

8.5 Brand Partner offers are separate. Any purchase, account, or other transaction with a Brand Partner is solely between the user and that Brand Partner and is governed by the Brand Partner’s own terms and privacy policy. Brand Partner content cannot change, add to, or replace these Official Rules.
